Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Judiciary Committee Substitute offered on page 3009. Senators Duncan, Ellis objected. The question being: Shall the Judiciary Committee Substitute be adopted? The roll was taken with the following result: SJR 40 Adopt JUD Committee Substitute? Senator Ellis offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 3, following line 2, insert: BE IT RESOLVED that the Tongass National Forest should be managed for a healthy and diversified economy for the benefit of all users, including value-added forest products, commercial and sport fishing, seafood processing, tourism, subsistence, sport hunting, and local businesses that provide goods and services. Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Duncan objected. The question being: Shall the resolution be advanced to third reading? The roll was taken with the following result: CSSJR 40(JUD) Advance from Second to Third Reading?
